Commission is charged on the price the item actually sold for, never the asking price.
When you get paid
The sale is recorded
Buyer, price and date logged against your item, with the split calculated and frozen at that moment. A later change to our standard rate can never alter a sale already made.
The clearance period
We hold the money while the return window runs and the payment clears. This exists so you are not paid for a sale that then unwinds.
Paid by bank transfer
With a statement listing every item, what it sold for, our commission, any agreed costs and your total. It reconciles to the penny.
The one honest caveat
Occasionally a sale genuinely costs something extra — a courier for a large item a buyer wants delivered, or a marketplace fee on a particular platform.
When that happens we agree it with you in writing beforehand, and it appears as its own line on your statement. We do not deduct anything you have not approved, and we do not use "no upfront fee" to hide costs at the other end.
Read the seller termsFee questions
Is the 30% ever negotiable?
For a large clearance or a high-value consignment, yes. If we agree a different rate it is recorded against your account in writing and that is the rate applied to your sales.
What if the item sells for less than we hoped?
Our percentage is charged on the actual sale price, so if it sells for less, we earn less too. And we cannot go below any minimum you set without asking you first.
Do I pay for collection?
No. Collection is included, as is storage while the item sells.
What happens if a buyer returns something?
The sale unwinds and that item comes out of your payout. If you had already been paid we will contact you directly to agree how it is resolved — we do not quietly take money back.
How do I know the figures are right?
Every sale is recorded against the individual item with its own reference. Your statement shows the sale price, the commission rate applied, any agreed costs and your total, item by item.
